Defensive Pistol Tactics is for everyone.
The law abiding citizen, Bail Recovery Agents, Prison Guards, Security Guards, Detectives and Law
enforcement officers as well.
No matter how skillful you are, this course will improve on that. It teaches you how to protect yourself
in a fight. How to retain your firearm when someone is grabbing it, malfunctions, defensive moves and marksmanship at close
quarters, shooting from barriers as well as on the run. It teaches you how to speed load and unload on the run and with one
hand.
This course even covers the procedures for shooting at low light and night attacks.
Defensive Pistol Tactics is a four level course.
It begins at level one and increases skills
through each level of training.
This course is a one day course given on the shooting range. It is geared for those that
may come under attack from a suspect. This Level 1 course will give you the basic tactical skills necessary to survive and
win a self-defense confrontation.
This course is an extension of Level 1. Here you will be required to perform with more accuracy and skill,
more speed will also be required. More defensive moves will be taught as you progress into Level 2. Decision making will
be part of the course, such as shoot or no shoot.
LEVEL 3 (Defensive Pistol Tactics / Concealed Carry)
This course is for the experienced shooter looking for concealed carry Defensive Pistol
Skills.
A one-day course which will review Defensive Pistol Tactical shooting skills and focus
on night shooting, shooting from prone, roll over, and other non-standard firing positions. Plus types of flashlights and
carry techniques. Night shooting tactics will eliminate any fears you might have about night tactical shooting.
The Instructor:
Rudy Adams has the know how, ability and experience to teach this defensive course so
anyone can understand it. Having served many years in the Military under strict Firearms Training, Tactical Defense Classes
and Military Police Academy Training, would be enough qualifications alone. However, Rudy Adams has served many years
in Law Enforcement and seen officers killed in the line of duty because of faulty training. Rudy Adams has served as Director
of a two county Drug Squad, where getting killed is an every day concern. Defensive Pistol Tactics has saved his life and
others on more than one occasion.
On top of all the above training, Rudy Adams was in the bomb squad. This in itself has
taught him a great deal about being safe and cautious. Rudy Adams was also a Fugitive Recovery Agent and owned his own
Private Detective Company. He currently holds a PHD in Criminal Justice, a NRA Certified Firearms Instructor Certificate and
also serves as an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer.
