Unit of NBI offers AOE/COE inquiries to obtain facts related to an incident and assist Claims Examiners in the accurate processing of the claim, including the possibility of subrogation and the examination of the mechanics of an alleged incident for confirmation of validity. In the event of a questionable claim, Subrosa is performed to substantiate the claim or obtain evidence to be used in the eventual defense of it and potential prosecution in cases of fraud. The merger of National Business Investigations, Inc. and DeSoto & Associates produced a more powerful agency, with combining the resources and experience of over 50 years in the industry, allowing NBI to produce higher quality, more economic investigative results to their valued clients. Also in 2003, Minders Protective Services was created as a division of NBI to provide for the increased demand for professional, highly-trained, armed bodyguards and security specialists (Minders).
